    I’m use to seeing Brixx beating his opponents on a 2 to 1 but wow that was an impressive one of between them but I have to admit it was one round bodybag. surf performed brixx which gave him the edge but what really made it a bodybag was that for the first time he had a good scheme to his raps. It reminded me a little of conceited’s slow it down I just dissed you but he added originality to it. Props to surf and Brixx for the crossover

    Smack… who is this nigga? Brixx looks like a crackhead version of Dose. Easy bodybag for Surf, but almost too much of a step down by going against this no-name who wouldn’t last in the Proving Grounds. And the other battles from this event are probably worse, though AB Hogish has some nice bars, so I’m looking out for that one.

    Fox is a lame ass host (and notice how he ALWAYS get punked in some way or talked over, like how the dude slapped the coin out of his hand at their last event or how Calicoe talked over him at the end of the Calicoe-Heartless battle on Grind Time), and this video had some of the worst camera angles I’ve seen… why did URL co-sign this shitty movement? I’m even from the West Coast, and this shit was mad gay, though at least we got a nice round out of Surf. Unfortunately there aren’t many known battlers in the LA area who appeal to the URL crowd at the moment, otherwise I’d support something more in the Southern California area, except you know if that were the case, those purple rags would’ve been tucked in haha.

        Yup. No disrespect to them, but you know that these Jersey rappers claiming Grape Street wouldn’t be flagging like that down here, closer to where the real Grape Street is at. It’s not like they’re going through the heart of the hood, but street dudes do show up to these events… might get checked by someone who claims the same gang to see what’s up or even by one of their enemies who is going to set trip just because they see the same colors, especially since it’s not like purple is such a common color here, even with the Lakers being the home team and all. I remember having seen some Crips roll to a Grind Time event this time last year in L.A. too.
