    And eness and verb complaints weren’t the same. Eness wasn’t saying much of anything except the one thing he said about do it why he hog tied. That was nice. Which is that philly swagger. Ness tried to fit into the new style of battle rap too much instead of bringing that philly swagger that is cold in itself, mixed with a little new style. The only two that mixed the two well is lux and clips. Oh and clips loss his battle by the way. I think what is happening to clips is what verb said, the punchline guys look great for a short period of time until they run out of punchlines. I think since clips has been back he has been on a steady decline because the stored up punchlines are fading. This is how his battles have gone: 2-1 clips vs verb, tie with x factor, edged slightly by big t, and loss to jones. Just my opinion

    Good aggressive ass battle.  Battles like this keep the street edge in SMACK/URL, and makes it the best battle league.  Unfortunately, whats next is another Math/Dose situation. When kats,staight up don’t like each other, either let them battle in a smaller venue/barbershop setting with security, or a neutral city where both of their crews are minimal.  Overall, good even battle, I personally think Rex was in Verbs personal space too often not to take a punch.

      I agree with you completely man. I believe Verb used the crowd as a crutch though. Sometimes, the crowd was outright disrespectful and didn’t let him finish his bars. Other times, he was overreacting to the heckling. In the second round, during Verb’s choke, he used to crowd to save himself. He used the heckling to gather his thoughts. I think the tactic was brilliant.

      The crowd was never going to give Verb complete respect. He doesn’t like them and they don’t like him. He was never going to get a fair shake. Both Rex and Verb did their thing. This was the best I’ve seen Rex in a battle. His energy and performance were on one.

      However, these regions that don’t like Verb and choose to boo him because of what he said about their respective cities is mad corny. These guys are battle rappers. They’re not supposed to be nice. This is a sport of trash talk and disrespect. Get over it. These guys aren’t obligated to be nice to you anymore than you’re obligated to be nice to them.

      Verb had a legit chance to pull out the win though. His third round pulled up short. I thought he was about to go into outer space, but his 3rd left much to be desired.

      Round 1 – Debatable (I edged it to Verb)
      Round 2 – Rex
